About
Offline Arcade started as a shared notes file between three friends who were tired of installing a game only to find out it needs a steady connection to do anything. We wanted a place that honestly answers one question: does this thing run when your phone is in airplane mode?,Everything you read here comes from actually playing. We install games on our own devices, play them for several sessions, and only then write the review. If a game crumbles without a signal or hides half its content behind a server, we say so plainly.,We pick titles across genres — role-playing, strategy, racing, puzzles, simulators — because people want different things on a long trip. Our shortlist comes from reader suggestions, store browsing and the occasional recommendation from a friend who found a hidden gem.,Nobody here is paid to praise a game. We keep the reviews short, specific and a little opinionated, the way we'd describe a game to someone sitting next to us.
Lukas Berger — Lukas has been reviewing mobile games for over a decade and still keeps a drawer full of old phones for testing. He writes most of the long reads and refuses to rate anything he hasn't finished.
