Offline RPGs worth your storage space
A good offline RPG is rarer than it should be. Too many hide their content behind servers or energy systems. These are the ones that let you play the whole thing on a dead-signal train.
Emberfall Chronicle is our current favorite, mostly for its turn-based pace and the freedom to build your party however you like. It never nags you to come back daily.
When you're picking an RPG for offline play, check two things before you commit: does it save locally, and does it gate progress behind timers? If the answer to the second is yes, keep looking.
Download size matters too. A great RPG is useless if you can't fit the full install on your device, so clear a little room before a trip.
