Puzzle games made for a short commute
The best commute puzzle is one you can start and stop without losing anything. You want a game that pauses gracefully when you look up to check the next station.
I look for puzzles that scale cleanly — easy to understand, hard to master. The satisfying ones teach a mechanic early and then keep twisting it.
Avoid anything that forces a cutscene or a loading screen between every level. On a short ride, those seconds add up and kill the rhythm.
Headphones optional. A lot of the best puzzlers are perfectly readable on mute, which is handy when you forgot yours at home.
