Emberfall Chronicle

Emberfall Chronicle drops you into a fading kingdom where you build a small party and work your way through dungeons, villages and a surprisingly warm main story. Combat is turn-based, so you can set your phone down mid-fight and come back later — great for commutes.

The character growth is the hook for me. Every level you earn lets you tweak your fighters with new skills, and the choices actually change how battles play out. I replayed an early area twice just to try a different build.

Everything, including the full campaign, lives on your device after install. No stamina bars, no daily online check-ins. It's a complete single-player RPG that just happens to be on a phone.
